Updating Every Weekday Unless Something Horrible Happens to Me

History is in the eye of the dreamer.

(Update by Darnell) Hey, this is history they can relate to at least. They're more likely to take it to heart than ancient translated Mediterranean texts. Making kids memorize that? Who's the real villain?

Toasted Pixel Presents:
Our Favorite Ghostbuster, The Country Singer

Rock Moranis sings country songs. The Canadian-raised star of Ghostbusters even gives himself a fake Western accent to do the deed.

"I work all day, to pay the rent, Before the money's earned, it's all been allocated."

The songs are parodies, and he seems to pour his heart into writing the lyrics, but the only thing you'll be able to think about is the fact that he's Rick freakin' Moranis trying to sing country.

"I ain't goin' nowhere, man.
I ain't goin' nowhere
It's dangerous out there, man
Might ‘a been a big bomb scare.
Hard to get off of this easy chair.
I ain't goin' nowhere."

The New York City actor who grew up working in radio stations, at least writes about his life experience in his country debut.

"Well I'm movin' along
Singin' my song
About coal smoke and valve oil and steam.
Daybreak Express and the Rock Island Line
Tennessee Central the Old Number 9
Full throttle boxcar,
A steel-drivin man.
Midnight,
I'm doin' what I can."

He's gone crazy.
