So your job is to make as many people into good guys by using your "Recruit" ability and raising
their Spirit Level.
You go up to a not-good person on the map and hit your "Recruit" button, which makes your
character proselytize them until their Spirit Level rises enough for them to
become a good guy. Now, the not-good people
in the game are of many different ethnicities with different outfits.
Once you turn them into good guys, they all become Caucasian character models in sweater vests:
Likewise, women who become good also become Caucasian redheads in conservative dress. Once you
recruit them, they become your Friend units, and you send your new Friends to your training camp buildings
to become soldiers with guns or medics etc so you can wage war using them.
A good guy soldier unit can have a Christian soldier-oriented Life Story, in which a pastor has assured them
that God does not count killing in war to be murder, and that Jesus approves of their battlefield killings:
The evil people who will oppose your good guys on the streets will generally be rappers,
heavy metal guitarists, or gangs who spray poison gas in your face, even if they're going to school,
Hollywood moguls, or older married computer programmers:
Probably the most common threat you'll encounter early on, however, are rappers.
You cannot let any of your good guys come too near any rappers you see.
Any person who walks too close to a rapper will hear their rap song, and anyone who hears a rap or heavy
metal song will have their Spirit level lowered. So if you see a rapper or heavy metal musician,
you can either shoot them dead to protect your people's faith, or counteract them with your gospel
singers or other spiritual warfare units, who raise people's Spirit levels.
Speaking of music, in your main menu and between every board of the game, you have the opportunity to buy
Christian music.
Back to the game. Over time,
the Spirit Level of anyone in your camp will start to fall, and if they fall too far
they become neutral again and not part of your camp. So you periodically have to use the "Pray" power that
all your units have, to raise their spirit level.
If you successfully complete a mission, you're rewarded with a "Found Clue." These are pages of text that
tell you things like how evolution is wrong.
So that's how you play Left Behind: Eternal Forces. We hope you enjoyed our matter-of-fact review of it.
Because we're done with it.
