It was a good education I got in college; learning when to run away from the person you're talking to. That's probably worth more than any chemistry class.

Toasted Pixel Presents: I've Always Thought Heavy Metal and Curling Needed to Go Together More

Hammerfall's "Hearts On Fire" video combines heavy metal music with the Swedish women's Olympic curling team. Why they've decided to use this curling theme makes as much sense as forcing men and women to have separate curling teams. But I guess the theme does make sense once you see the two together, along with the many close-up shots of the Swedish team's "Acuvue" shoulder patches. I still can't figure out if this is serious or not. On the one hand, it's ridiculous as a cuckoo clock. On the other hand, it's Swedish heavy metal. That's the curling team playing the part of the heavy metal band. It's as non-scary as it looks.
