Toasted Pixel Presents:
Their Best Work Besides Law & Order

(Part II of II)

Mariska Hargitay

This Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star, who was in other works like ER and Leaving Las Vegas, is a highly respected actor. As long as we draw breath, though, we will never let the public forget that her first acting job was in 1985's Ghoulies.

We never saw headbanging screamin' the same way again. We were changed by this.

Let's see that hair again:

See the woman next to her? Hargitay's hair is bigger. She WINS.

In addition to the fact that men react uniquely to everything she says in this movie, Ghoulies is notable for the fact that no one else in it was ever heard from again.

Diane Neal

On Special Victims Unit, she played a rapist who was into autoerotic asphyxiation and murdering male strippers, before playing Assistant District Attorney Casey Novak. Hey, it's just the way it goes sometimes.

Before Law & Order, she was among other things a figure skater, a model for Pond's skin care products and Shiseido, and a Biblical archeological student. To us, however, she will always be known as the woman who was Queen of the lesbian vampire orgy in Dracula III (the second sequel to Dracula 2000, which itself came out in March 2001 - the way it goes sometimes, again).

Well, at least she's still in a position of authority.

If you notice a trend so far, Law & Order people tend to fight the forces of ridiculous darkness for some reason. Why should Ice-T be any different? Unsurprising answer follows.

Ice-T

Former Army Ranger and pioneer of gangsta rap Ice-T has starred in several hood films and is known for making many several high profile political statements against censorship and unjust wars. And in 2000, he fought a more personal battle with different rewards by-- ok cut to the chase he starred in Leprechaun in the Hood with an afro so big it caused a gravity well that pulled his eyes apart and towards the hair as you can see below:

By any other name, it's still poetry.
(mpg size: 1.86 MB)

Leprechaun in the Hood is notable for portraying a Leprechaun summoning and calling for zombie fly girls. As it should be. And also for this:

By any other name, it's still a Leprechaun rapping about being horny.

And finally, a crossover.

Richard Belzer

There's actually not much to say about Richard Belzer of Special Victims Unit, since he already has an insane life and a random career as a comedian, victim of Hulk Hogan, and alien tool in Robert A. Heinlein's The Puppet Masters. However, something to note is that he never seems to take off his sunglasses, even when he plays the US President giving a TV address in the movie Species II.

Why would you make him the President in a movie, and did no one notice he still had his sunglasses on? No matter. The important thing is, the movie Species II ALSO stars CSI star Marg Helgenberger in the only role we ever want to see her in: fighting deadly space vaginas with a giant ray gun.

We love this movie. This giant gun that shoots steam proves it loves us back.
(mpg size: 4.66 MB)

This has been a PSA to make sure you know that Marg Helgenberger killed space uteri in Species II.
