Comics that got cut (Part II)

(update by Simon) This comic was originally cut from the comic schedule because of the violence theme. And uh, we're going to quit this "cut" series while we're ahead.

Toasted Pixel Presents:
We Can't Wait For the Bat

We can't wait for Batman Begins, which opens on June 15th. Word is, it's the best comic book movie ever, although there's also apparently very little "comical" about it. Can they top the half-human Penguin villain driving a monster Duck truck in the sewers from Batman Returns? Probably not, but we can see them try.

"On hindsight, maybe we WERE an attractive mugging target for this neighborhood."

Yet, it seems that the more anticipated the film is, the more baffling the publicity screenshots become. It's as if they say, "Everyone will see this film regardless? Then to hell with it! Release the photos of Batman on the john!" The photos we get to see won't make us not see the film, but many don't paint a very Batman-y picture of it.

Worst golfing accident EVER.

Sure, most are action oriented, but some don't even have drama involved. At least the War of the World screenshots portrayed intense stress and insanity accurately with every dramatic photo of Tom Cruise. Heh.

"Why must I carry this? I'm Michael CAINE, blast it."

Well, I'm sure the movie will be better, anyway.
