In an attempt to become more insane than South Korea,
China has outlawed Buddhist reincarnation.
According to a statement issued by the State Administration for Religious Affairs, the law,
which goes into effect next month and strictly stipulates the procedures by which one is to reincarnate,
is "an important move to institutionalize management of reincarnation."
I like how the law goes into effect next month. That should be a sight to see. The courts will have a fun job on its hands then.
Fun meaning non-ironic Chinese court fun, since they can do anything they please.
