Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

At this time, we'd like to warn you:

THERE ARE NOW GUNGANS IN RETURN OF THE JEDI

Let me repeat that. Jar Jar's race, the Gungans, have been ADDED to a movie that didn't have them before. Arguably, Leonard Part 6 would be made worse if Gungans were added. But someone who will remain nameless decided that people's chief complaint about the original Trilogy was that it didn't have Gungans. We now have a movie with both Ewoks and Gungans. It must be GREAT!
The Gungans appear dancing on rooftops in the celebration at the end of the movie. That's fitting, since Gungans are simply ravers who just watched The Warriors over and over while on E. At least that would explain the way they dress, and why - dude - their heads are so huge.

Same celebration scene, only it pisses people off.

HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN

Hayden Christensen now appears as the ghost of Darth Vader at the end of the movie. It makes sense for obvious reasons; he plays the face of Darth Vader in the other films. However, the way it's executed makes NO sense:
Christensen seems to make eye contact with every crew member in the room, bowing and thanking everyone for his opportunity to appear as the ghost. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to notice other people around him, like the two Jedi ghosts looking at him right next to him, and Luke Skywalker, the person he's supposed to be appearing for. Odd acting/directing choice. Eh. Could've been worse (Gungans).

We should point out that, despite its faults, there are many little CG improvements scattered throughout Return of the Jedi (ROTJ) in Special Ed. and the DVD version. Spaceship scenes in particular have been greatly improved, many matte lines have been removed, and Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors is now in the Sarlacc Pit.

The consensus: There are Gungans in Return of the Jedi.
